Sie ist Ergotherapeutin, wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Studiengang Ergotherapie der Fachhochschule Wiener Neustadt und hat die Leitung des Projekts „Demenzfreundliche Bibliothek Wiener Neustadt“ inne. Ihre Arbeits- und Forschungsschwerpunkte sind: Ergotherapie und Occupational Science, Aktivität und Partizipation im Kontext Demenz, Geriatrie und Gerontologie, Qualitative und partizipative Forschungsmethoden.
