Foto: privatAlan Brown is a Professorial Fellow at the University of Warwick Institute for Employment Research. His current research, which has a strong international orientation, focuses mainly upon changing occupational identities, continuing vocational training, qualifications development, skill formation, organisational performance, and supporting knowledge sharing and development and learning in professional communities of practice. He has been involved in the development of knowledge-sharing sites on research and practice in careers guidance.
