„Gender is a category with far-reaching consequences on educational processes which have been extensively investigated in the last decades. However, current political situations and societal developments such as globalization or movement of refugees require new approaches and views in gender theory and research as well as in methodology and practical work. Concepts such as diversity and intersectionality are useful to broaden the perspectives and come to adequate solutions for new problems. The volume aims at giving an insight in attempts to cope with these new challenges particularly in adult education. Thus, it addresses researchers as well as practitioners in the field of adult education who are interested in ongoing changes in perception and handling of gender related issues.“ (Verlagsinformation)

English Abstract

Gender – Diversity – Intersectionality. (New) Perspectives in Adult Education. Martina Endepohls-Ulpe und Joanna Ostrouch-Kaminska (publ.)

Thus, it addresses researchers as well as practitioners in the field of adult education who are interested in ongoing changes in perception and handling of gender related issues.“
