Inklusive Weiterbildung beinhaltet zweierlei: eine umfassend barrierefreie Infrastruktur und ein für möglichst alle Menschen konzipiertes und prinzipiell offenes Bildungsangebot. Wie sich das Bildungshaus Schloss Retzhof dieser Herausforderung stellt, berichtet dessen Leiter im vorliegenden Porträt.

English Abstract

The demand for inclusion in continuing education will pose new challenges to adult education on several levels in the next years. While promising concepts and more and more offers from a programmatic point of view and in the area of software development can already be found, the problem of providing a suitable infrastructure (e.g. for people with special needs) for carrying out inclusive educational events still remains unsolved to a large extent. And this despite the fact that actually about 10 percent of the Austrian population lives with a certified disability. For the last two years, the Educational Centre at Retzhof Castle has dedicated itself to solving these problems. The author presents experiences and demands as part of the present portrait of his institution.
